I ordered two puzzles at once due to an offer of a lower shipping fee. Only one puzzle was delivered. I then got an email telling me the second puzzle was out of stock. So instead of getting the deal on the lower shipping I was charged $16.99 shipping and because I didn't get the second puzzle I got a refund of $3.69. Who does ghat. I sent several emails requesting an adjustment but nope and besides that $16.99 for shipping?
Ordered two puzzles from this company. Waited several weeks for the delivery, which eventually arrived with two completely different puzzles to the ones we had ordered. No reasons given. Tried to call their inappropriately named "customer service" which incidentally is a premium rate line. No answer. Contacted them by email to request they correct their error. No response to that. Eventually, again several weeks later, had an email from them asking for me to provide my address, which they stated they did not have. Strange as it's on the order acknowledgment that they originally sent me. I forwarded this, and, you guessed it, no response again.

I have requested a catalog from the website 4 times (been trying monthly since March!) and phoned twice. It's now the middle of June and still no catalog. If this is representative of their customer service, they have lost this customer and everyone I can tell!
My puzzle was shipped to an address in the wrong city and they then reshipped to the correct address or so they said. Come to find out they didnt reship. They then promissed to reship and sent a new tracting info email. And here it is a month later and the fedx tracking still says pending. Every time I call they say its on the way and fedx has it but no puzzle. Closed account and am posting this review STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Chat and emails are basic or automated. They apologize yet never handle problems or concerns. Shipping cost is ridiculous and takes forever to arrive. Basically a company that doesn't care about the actual customers, just the profit.
During COVID the delivery was particularly bad but, the puzzles are very nice and very well priced. I love that the pieces are not cut traditionally but are more interesting.
I bought a golf ball globe puzzler as a gift. It was very poor quality. The globe had come off of the base. I had to glue it back together. The gift box was sliced open and the Styrofoam was broken in several places. I wrote a one star review for the item on their site and they never posted it! There is only 1 review for the item from 3 years ago. It was of course a 5 star review from someone who had not even purchased it yet! I will not buy from them again and don't recommend them.
Prices seemed to have risen dramatically around the holiday.? Why do they do this? I dont think i will use them in the future
Do not ever order from Bits and Pieces. They are not a real company, just a few phones that call and order your Product from the US to ship to you. They will only use Postal service, making a profit on that and blaming Canada Post for problems. The problem is, Canada Post also adds their useless, unreliable, and slow service, so ANYTHING you order will take more than a month. Their puzzles are made with very low quality, if you ever do get it.
Like other reviews stated, I regret not reading the reviews before I ordered. I would NOT have ordered from them.
We knew before the item was shipped from them, that it was not what we ordered. After immediatly contacting them, we were told that they would fix their mistake once it arrived to our home. When the wrong item arrived, we were instucted to mail it back, with insurance, at our expense. They offered a $10 coupon off our next purchase. I requested that they pay for shipping the item back and they advised they could not do that. We used our credit card and they refunded our money to our credit card.
I would recommed NOT using this company.

I wish I had read the reviews before I bought anything from this Company. I ordered a set of two Red Crowned Cranes Garden Sculptures. When I got them I realized that the quality was "JUNK" so I try to return the item and called them to request a "return shipping label". They told me that if I wanted to return this item I had to pay for the shipping myself.
The price of this Item = $89.99
The fee to ship it back = $75.00
So the reason to deny shipping is to make sure they keep your money. A VERY DISHONEST WAY TO DO BUSINESS! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.
I wanted to support a Canadian company and found out my order was coming from the US. Placed my order on Nov 5, shipped Nov 10 and I followed up Nov 17 as item not received. I was advised to wait a few more days and no tracking number can be provided. Followed up on the 25th and requested a refund and to have package redirected (if it really did ship from US). I was told because it was shipped they would not process a refund even though they can’t provide confirmation of the same. They can’t tell me where it is, only it’s in Canada somewhere or, when it might be delivered. I feel delivery issues are not my responsibility and at no point was I made aware when placing my order it was coming from another country. This is definitely misrepresentation. Very poor customer service and no customer satisfaction.
Ordered a wooden puzzle plateau that according to the ad would fit a 1000 piece puzzle. When received it was not big enough for the puzzle I ordered. I spoke with "customer care" because they also stated in their catalog that customer satisfaction is a priority. After speaking with them stating my problem they would do NOTHING to help. I was willing to pay shipment on the bigger item and the difference in the cost of the item. Really just asked them to cover the cost of the return which originally cost 14.95. Absolutely no cooperation. Will never purchase another thing from this company and would advise everyone else to do the same. Terrible customer service!--
I have purchased over 50 puzzles in the last year and found the quality going down. The puzzle have bent pieces and will not stay locked together. I even had one with the back of outside piece torn off. I measured the thickness of early ones and they are much better quality.
